MISSIONS / SERVICE DIMENSIONS
The Service holder will be responsible for managing all installation activities and supporting
the package manager on all installation matters, within the B58 SURF team for the
GranMorgu Project (B58).
ACTIVITIES
As SURF Installation manager of GranMorgu project within SURF package, the job holder
shall:
 Adopt and demonstrate exemplary behaviour with regards to H3SE, implement H3SE
rules and requirements within his area of responsibility and comply with H3SE
training requirements for the position
 Ensure that HSE&Q issues are correctly handled in all SURF technical
documentation. Raise subsequently comments, highlight deviations, unacceptable or
unjustified design choices that could affect SURF equipment during fabrication,
installation, production
 Ensure that safe working practices are enforced within the team and the Contractor &
Vendors along all phases of project Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour
with regards to the Company Ethics and "Code of Conduct" policy and promote and
enforce the AntiCorruption Program in force.‐
 Be informed of SURFrelated Company Rules and Specifications (CR's/GS's),‐
international norms and standards, extracting all the applicable requirements for the
Suriname SURF package.
 Identify, implement and manage as necessary, Installation engineering studies as
would be requested for SURF installation
 Participate, in liaison with Project Planning Leader, to the development of SURF
installation schedule.
 Develop and have validated the SURF Installation Plan, with associated installation
schedule and installation principles. Identify COMOP, mainly with Drilling, and
propose mitigation plans.
 Define, develop, issue and maintain all necessary technical documentation related to
the Suriname SURF package. Support and participate also to the development and
maintenance of Project
 Management main documents (SOR, FDP, PEP, PQP, Risks, etc.) for SURF
installation matters.
 Ensure that all installation, precommissioning and commissioning aspects are‐
suitably addressed during the different engineering phases by timely reviewing (or
having reviewed) and validating the relevant SURF documentation issued by
Contractor(s) (technical documentation / queries / derogation requests) with the
objective to ensure respect of schedule, costs, quality and safety and in compliance

with Project specifications and procedures, TTE General Specifications and
international norms and standards.
 Raise comments / highlight deviations, unacceptable or unjustified design choices
affecting constructability and installation issues.
 Ensure daily liaison with Contractor(s) with regards to Installation engineering
matters.
 Ensure followup / review / validation of progress performed by Contractor(s) wrt‐
Installation and analyses/reports drifts that could occur and propose remedial
solutions.
 Liaise with the other Package teams (Drilling, FPSO, SPS, URS, etc.) of the project
in matters related to Installation to ensure adequate management of installation
related interfaces, in close liaison with the SURF Interface Leader.
 Coordinate all the activities of the SURF Company representatives on installation
vessels by informing, supporting and directing personnel in their roles,
responsibilities, and objectives.
 Ensure liaison between SURF Company representatives on installation vessels and
SURF Manager, distributing decisions (either technical or managerial) and ensuring
coherent progress and practices on all sites.
 Anticipate the responsibility for the right supervision and control of the installation of
all SURF
 equipment spread over several laying vessels, ensuring that QA/QC and H3SE
project policies and
 requirements are duly implemented, and controlling Contractors' achievements in
accordance with
 contractual requirements in all areas.
 Participate to project reviews as requested by TotalEnergies referential (PR, DER,
CSPP...).
 Anticipate the supervision and control of the pre‐commissioning, the commissioning
of all SURF equipment and the offshore installation
 Ensure adequate and timely reporting to the SURF Manager, consolidation reports,
concerns and issues.
 Assist, as requested, the SURF Manager with relations with Concessionaire /
Partners regarding SURF technical matters, prepare and participate, as required, in
Workshops / Committee meetings with Partners and Concessionaire.
 Ensure confidentiality of all the SURF documentation produced (whatever its support)
 Gather 'lessons learnt' and provide feedback to other TotalEnergies OneTech entities
as required and participate to Project close‐out activities / report
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
The activity takes place in the context of the execution phase of a major project in Suriname.
The Suriname Project is a multidisciplinary team that coordinates the project managed by
TotalEnergies on the Deep and Shallow Water discoveries of offshore Suriname Block 58.
The technical challenges the Project will face are the reservoir development and
management, FPSO, and subsea production/injection system.
The Suriname Team will develop the Project with the objectives of maximizing economic
results by optimizing the reserves, and the schedule, reducing the costs and the
Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emission, while maintaining the technical quality of the installations,
with high H3SE requirements and focus.

DURATION/LOCATION
 Start date: ASAP
 Duration: 1‐year renewable, in Paris area until end of 2026 / Q1 2027. Then a
possible residential status in SURINAME with many missions offshore (to be
confirmed) until end of the Project.
 Renewable: Yes
 Location: Paris area until end of 2026. Then Resident in FRANCE or SURINAME
with missions offshore until end of the Project.
 Status: Residential.
QUALFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
 BOSIET and HUET
 Master's degree in engineering, or equivalent
 15 years of experience in studies and execution phases of large offshore oil & gas
projects, especially linked to SURF engineering, construction, installation &
commissioning activities
 SURF contractor experience is a plus
 Strong skills in technical and operational (installation) management, in multitasking
work
 Strong team spirit, manage skillfully and efficiently the relationships with GPI team
and external teams (OneTech technical specialist, Contractor(s)s ...)
 Spirit of synthesis, skills for solving technical issues
 Permanent concern for cost optimization and schedule adherence - First oil and
subsequent plateau
 Attentive to the Project needs and contribute to its processes improvement
 Autonomous, proactive and energetic
 Fluent in English
