Offshore Structural Engineer
Location: Leatherhead, UK
Duration: 3 Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Work Style: Hybrid working (4 days in the office, 1 remote)

We are seeking three Offshore Structural Engineers for a 3-month assignment, based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Role Overview
As a Technical Advisor - Offshore Structural, you will report to the lead and be responsible for independently performing the following analysis using a specialist offshore structural analysis software suite:
- In-service strength
- Wave induced spectral fatigue
- Seismic analysis
- Transportation strength and fatigue
- Push over and Reserve Strength Ratio using nonlinear advanced collapse analysis
- Boat impact and boat landing analysis using advanced collapse methods
- Mating analysis
- Loadout analysis
- Lift analysis
- Mudmat and on-bottom stability checks
The scope also involves preparing and checking design reports, providing inputs to the design team, and checking 3D models and drawings.
The work will involve liaising with other disciplines, the client, and third-party contractors, as well as coordinating and working with project team members across global offices to deliver tasks within allotted timelines and budgets.
Experience Required
- Degree in Structural Engineering Design
- Minimum of 15 years experience, with excellent technical and practical engineering skills and the ability to consistently deliver on quality and schedule
- Proficient user of an offshore structural analysis software suite
- In-depth knowledge of the latest revisions of offshore design codes such as ISO 19901 and API codes
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
- Ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
