Job Title: Engineering Manager Hull
Working Location: Malaysia
Contract Type: 1-2 years
Role Overview:
Responsible for leading all hull engineering activities for a major FPSO project, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality design delivery from concept through detailed engineering and construction support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hull engineering scope including naval architecture, structural, and outfitting integration
- Manage multi-discipline engineering teams and engineering contractors
- Ensure compliance with classification society rules and project specifications
- Oversee engineering deliverables, schedules, and technical quality
- Coordinate closely with fabrication yards, construction, and topside teams
- Manage technical risks, interfaces, and engineering change control
- Support construction and commissioning readiness activities
Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in offshore, FPSO, or shipbuilding engineering projects
- Strong background in hull engineering and marine structures
- Proven leadership of large engineering teams in EPC environments
- Experience working with classification societies and international offshore standards
- Strong interface management and stakeholder coordination skills
