As a long-term supplier of manpower to one of the largest LNG operators within the global Oil and Gas market, Kintec were tasked with fully coordinating a large recruitment campaign, handling a multitude of job opportunities available for their Drilling & Completions and OES Maintenance departments. After exploring a number of potential locations across the globe and gathering a considerable amount of information, the country location was set for Azerbaijan from October 23-25th 2021.
Kintec sourced candidates from August to September with the campaign securing over 100 CVs from a number of countries neighbouring Azerbaijan including Turkey, Kazakhstan and Russia.
Managing the process throughout, Kintec arranged pre-screening interviews for both drilling and maintenance positions where 60+ candidates were selected and invited to attend the open days. With urgency and precision, Kintec worked tirelessly to ensure that all candidates were fully vaccinated and able to travel with ease.
Held at the impressive JW Marriott Absheron in Baku, Berend Dumartin, our Key Account Manager for Qatar was instrumental in leading all of the logistical effort for this major campaign. He was joined, during assessment days, by Anthony Vernon, David Goode, Fatima Bautista and 10 hiring managers and 3 HR personnel of the client.
With all interviewees arriving punctually, the client initially conducted an hour long presentation before carrying out formal interviews which totalled over 20 per day.
With 15 offers made for both Drilling and OES Maintenance personnel, there were a total of 12 acceptances where Kintec have subsequently and successfully handled the entire candidate mobilisation process.
Overall 11 placements were made.
