Overview
We are urgently seeking a highly skilled Vibration Analyst to support critical generator failure diagnostics aboard an FPSO offshore Guyana. The role is short-term (circa 7 days) but essential to restoring operational integrity following a major equipment fault.
This position requires candidates with strong offshore experience and hands-on proficiency in vibration data acquisition, analysis, and reporting. Due to the immediate nature of the work, candidates must bring their own tooling for vibration analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vibration analysis on FPSO machinery (focus on generator).
- Identify root causes of vibration anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
- Capture, interpret, and report on condition monitoring data in real-time.
- Liaise with onboard technical teams and shore-based engineering support.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vibration Analyst, ideally in offshore FPSO environments.
- Able to mobilize quickly with own vibration analysis tooling.
- Strong familiarity with rotating equipment diagnostics.
Mandatory Certifications & Medical Requirements
- BOSIET / HUET / CBSP
- HUET or THUET
- Compressed Air Emergency Breathing Systems (CAEBS)
- Offshore Medical (OGUK or ASO equivalent)
- Yellow Fever Vaccination
- Tuberculosis (TB) Clearance: Either a valid TB test or willingness to complete a chest X-ray in-country as per Guyanese offshore entry requirements.

- Candidates must be passport-ready and eligible to work offshore in Guyana.
