Turnover and Acceptance Lead – Onshore Project (Qingdao, China)
Contract Length: 36-month secondment
Working Schedule: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week, 26 days/month

Job Purpose
This is a unique opportunity to join a large-scale, international onshore energy infrastructure project. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and guiding Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Management teams to ensure the successful delivery of project turnover and acceptance activities. This position is crucial in ensuring systems completion, integrity, and seamless handover to operations—all with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on turnover and acceptance processes to EPC teams across multiple scopes.

Oversee implementation and optimisation of completions management systems.

Collaborate closely with engineering and construction disciplines to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.

Drive best practices in system handover, punch listing, and commissioning readiness.

Support the development and maintenance of project completion databases.

Monitor progress and ensure compliance with project standards and procedures.

Foster a strong safety culture and promote collaboration across multicultural teams.
Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent as a minimum; further education qualifications desirable.

At least 8 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar turnover or completions role.

Proven expertise in both greenfield and brownfield oil and gas projects, ideally in an onshore/offshore setting.

Strong knowledge of completions and turnover systems and associated software tools.

Hands-on experience building and managing completions databases.

Exposure to working within large, complex project environments involving Tier-1 contractors or operators.

Adaptable and responsive to tight schedules, shifting priorities, and high-pressure environments.

Previous experience in Asia, particularly in fabrication yards, is highly regarded.
