We are seeking a Tooling Operations Lead to oversee and manage the tooling system for a dynamic production environment. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills, ensuring all tools and equipment are available, maintained, and optimised for production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage budgets for new tools and equipment to support operational efficiency.

Oversee inventory, maintenance, and repair of tooling and equipment, ensuring they meet production demands.

Coordinate with vendors for quotations, purchases, and equipment servicing.

Maintain comprehensive records of tooling performance, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.

Lead a team in problem-solving initiatives, identifying issues and conducting root cause analysis.

Implement strategies to optimise tooling processes and reduce downtime.
About You

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

5 to 7 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.

Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Experience in managing budgets, vendor relationships, and tooling maintenance processes.
