Job Title: Senior Wind Energy Analyst
Location: Gentofte, Copenhagen, Denmark
Client: Leading Global Green Energy Major - Wind
Assignment Length: Initial 13 Month Contract (Expectation of Extension beyond this)
Assignment Type: Residential
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday ( 40 Hours a week)
Job description:
Key tasks
- assess wind resources for utility-scale wind farms
- perform wind data analyses
- prepare wind farm layouts
- conduct energy yield analyses together with the associated uncertainty and losses
- strategic advice on technical scope and production optimization on projects covering both development and the operational portfolio
- ensure proper use of production profiles and alignment with other departments of CLIENT
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with wind resource and energy yield assessment
- Commercial understanding and mindset ensuring that yield analysis and derived recommendations are not done isolated but considering the value of the project as a whole.
- have excellent IT skills and are a competent user of MatLab or another high-level technical computing language
- speak and write English fluently, communicating efficiently with your stakeholders and presenting your results to your colleagues professionally
- are bright with excellent analytical skills and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely and effective manner, enabling you to prioritise your tasks.
