Job Title: Senior Quality Specialist
Location: Westminster, London, UK
Contract Length: 12-month renewable contract
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to support offshore development and EPC projects within the renewable energy sector. This role focuses on embedding quality processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring best practices are implemented across engineering, project services, and construction activities.

This is an opportunity to work on major offshore wind projects and be a key contributor to enhancing quality standards and culture across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of quality excellence across projects, ensuring processes and behaviours align with best practices.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing coaching, training, and mentoring to project personnel on quality tools and systems.

  • Identify and implement lessons learned and best practices across projects.

  • Work closely with Project Quality Managers to minimise project risks and support quality assurance.

  • Facilitate quality initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.

  • Support and enhance the use of Synergi for Non-Conformance Reporting (NCRs) and lessons learned.

  • Contribute to the Cost of Quality Process, identifying improvement opportunities to optimise project performance.

  • Actively engage with stakeholders and leadership teams, ensuring seamless coordination and integration of quality initiatives.

Key Success Criteria

  • Effective implementation of quality management systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Identification and mitigation of quality risks using a risk-based approach.

  • Standardisation of quality reporting processes using Synergi.

  • Implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within EPC projects.

  • Alignment with industry best practices and integration into quality culture initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quality-related experience in large-scale engineering or construction projects.

  • Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related discipline (desirable).

  • Recognised Quality certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) are a plus.

  • Strong experience in implementing corporate Quality systems.

  • Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in international and cross-cultural teams.

  • Regular travel required, including visits to offices in the UK and abroad (approximately one week per month).
