JOB TITLE: Senior Construction Engineer
CLIENT: A prominent regional entity delivering end-to-end EPC solutions across marine infrastructure, offshore energy, and dredging operations.
LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Permanent Hire Staff role/ Full Residential role in UAE
WORK SCHEDULE: 9 hours (including lunch break)- From 8am to 5pm- Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday are week off)
START DATE: Late 2025/ Early 2026 - Depending on successful candidates circumstances

Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Construction Engineer to take a leading role in offshore project execution, supporting and guiding Construction Engineers while reporting to the Offshore Construction Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Offshore Construction Manager in developing offshore execution strategies and implementation plans

Lead constructability reviews to improve project efficiency and reduce installation costs

Oversee procurement requirements and ensure timely material readiness for offshore operations

Contribute to project progress through regular reporting and participation in client meetings

Coordinate with third-party agencies, surveyors, and subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality standards

Conduct health, safety, and environmental (HSE) audits and support continuous improvement initiatives

Manage offshore work schedules, mobilization, demobilization, and subcontractor performance

Assist with project close-out documentation and final reporting
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Naval discipline preferred)

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in offshore construction or project execution

Strong understanding of offshore operations, equipment, and personnel management

Excellent communication, reporting, and negotiation skills

Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
