Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer with expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to join a dynamic cybersecurity team. This role focuses on maximising the value of Microsoft E5 DLP capabilities, ensuring that security measures align effectively with available data enrichment and incident response capacity. The ideal candidate will take a strategic approach, determining what should be prioritised, what comes next, and what should be avoided to drive optimal security outcomes.
This is not a role for someone looking to enable every available feature—it’s about understanding the business needs, analysing the data landscape, and developing a practical and effective roadmap. In addition to defining the strategy, the Security Engineer will actively support implementation and provide guidance to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Lead the development of a DLP strategy and roadmap, aligning with business objectives and security priorities.
-
Implement and optimise Microsoft E5 DLP tools, ensuring their effective integration into the organisation’s security ecosystem.
-
Assess existing security capabilities, identifying gaps and recommending practical, high-impact improvements.
-
Collaborate with incident response and forensic teams to align DLP capabilities with response capacity.
-
Provide training and support to internal teams, ensuring an understanding of DLP tools and best practices.
-
Communicate complex security concepts in a clear and accessible manner, fostering cross-functional alignment.
Requirements:
-
Strong experience with Data Loss Prevention tools within the Microsoft E5 suite.
-
Ability to assess and determine the most suitable security tools based on the organisation’s environment and resources.
-
Critical thinker who challenges assumptions and prioritises high-impact, low-effort solutions.
-
Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to guide and support internal teams.
-
Proactive and positive attitude, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Work Arrangement:
-
Hybrid role – minimum two days per week on-site in Warsaw, Poland.
Why Join?
This is a unique opportunity to shape the DLP strategy for a leading organisation, working on cutting-edge security solutions with a talented team. If you are passionate about optimising security operations and making a real impact, we encourage you to apply.
