Job Title: Quality Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus benefits

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer in Sheffield to lead and continuously improve our risk-based supplier assessment program. You will conduct supplier audits, ensure compliance with quality standards, and support suppliers in meeting technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and improve the supplier assessment program to ensure external products and services meet quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits independently or with colleagues to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Monitor and communicate performance of quality-critical suppliers, collaborating with Procurement.
- Provide guidance to suppliers struggling to meet standards but showing potential for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and Quality Management Systems.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17020, and FSSC 22000.
- Desire to become a Chartered Quality Institute member and obtain Lead Auditor qualification.
