Introduction

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale Solar PV projects in Croatia. Based in Zagreb, you’ll join a rapidly expanding renewables division within a multinational industrial and energy group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle project management—from initiation to commissioning—ensuring delivery within schedule, scope, and budget.

  • Coordinate technical and managerial tasks across development, engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, track budgets, schedules, and key milestones.

  • Identify risks and deviations early, implement corrective actions to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Evaluate EPC and subcontractor proposals, contracts, and change orders; manage contract negotiations.

  • Liaise with local authorities, grid operators, and regulatory bodies for permitting and grid interconnection.

  • Ensure effective allocation of internal teams and external contractors to meet project goals.

  • Maintain all project documentation to a high standard, ensuring audit-readiness and compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a project management role within Croatia’s energy or infrastructure sectors (Solar PV project experience is a strong advantage).

  • Education: Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

  • Certifications: PMP certification is desirable.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Project.

  • Languages: Fluent in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Croatian is beneficial.
