About the Opportunity:
We are currently seeking three experienced Project Engineers to join a globally recognised engineering organisation on a permanent basis, following the award of multiple new projects.

Based in Cork, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key player in the delivery of complex engineering projects from concept through to realisation. Project values typically range between €100k and €3M and span across internal business investments and third-party client work throughout Ireland and the UK.

As a Project Engineer, you will support senior project managers and work within a multidisciplinary engineering team to ensure the successful execution of projects—on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the execution of engineering projects from initial studies through to delivery.

  • Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and proposals for a variety of capital projects.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Oversee project progress in line with safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards.

  • Manage communication between stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree, HNC or HND in a relevant engineering discipline (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent).

  • Minimum 3 years of industrial experience within a process, energy, or manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of engineering projects on time, to budget and to required standards.

  • Strong understanding of SHEQ principles in a project environment.

  • Candidates must have the right to work in Ireland.
