The Role:

As a Process Engineer, you will support the delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction. You will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to drive critical project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide process engineering expertise for water and wastewater treatment projects.

- Support early-stage optioneering, feasibility studies, and all levels of design work.

- Prepare and review essential technical documentation, including:

- Process flow diagrams and calculations

- Performance reports

- Equipment specifications

- Control philosophies

- Drive process optimisation and improvements for existing infrastructure.

- Collaborate closely with civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICA disciplines.

- Support digital engineering practices and innovative design methodologies.

- Engage with client teams and stakeholders to communicate technical solutions and project progress.

- Uphold compliance with industry standards, safety, and environmental regulations.

About You:

- Experienced in the UK water or wastewater sector.

- Strong grasp of treatment processes and plant design.

- Background in engineering consultancy or capital project delivery.

- Capability to contribute across multiple project phases, from FEED to detailed design and delivery.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

- Proactive and solutions-driven approach.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

- Working towards or holding professional membership (IChemE, CIWEM, or equivalent).
