We are seeking a Power Systems Studies Engineer to support a range of onshore and offshore energy projects. These will cover local power generation, renewable integration (including battery energy storage systems), and grid connections up to 220kV.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct power system studies including:
- Equipment sizing
- Load flow analysis
- Short circuit studies
- Dynamic motor starting
- Harmonic analysis
- Arc flash assessments
- Transient stability studies
- Protection co-ordination
- Execute studies directly and oversee third-party vendors delivering specialist analyses.
- Support projects requiring electromagnetic transient (EMT) modelling.
- Ensure all studies comply with project specifications, standards, and best practice.
Software Environment:
All power system studies will be conducted using ETAP.
