Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join a strategic digitalisation initiative within a public sector portfolio focusing on support services. This is a critical role where you will drive architectural work in major IT projects and procurement efforts, ensuring that proposed solutions are fit for purpose, aligned with organisational strategy, and compliant with regulations.
You will be part of a broader architecture team, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, IT personnel, domain architects, and infrastructure specialists to deliver coherent and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural work within development projects, including requirements gathering and IT solution design
- Facilitate workshops focused on process and information mapping in collaboration with business units
- Conduct information classification and risk analysis
- Develop architecture models and perform analysis and consolidation within your area of responsibility
- Translate business and user needs into technical solutions
- Cooperate with domain architects, integration specialists, and infrastructure teams
- Contribute to strategic alignment of solutions with wider organisational goals
Essential Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as an IT architect, including hands-on modelling
- Strong, documented experience with the implementation and rollout of IT systems
- Extensive experience in requirements analysis and translating them into viable architectural solutions
- Relevant university degree in IT, engineering, or a related field
- Proven ability to manage customer and stakeholder dialogue professionally
- Strong communication skills and leadership capability in complex environments
- Fluent in Swedish (oral and written), with the ability to document and present clearly
- Experience from similar assignments, ideally in the public sector
- Able to provide references (either people with contact info or examples of past projects)
- Swedish citizenship required due to potential security classification
Desirable Qualifications
- TOGAF certification
- Previous work within public sector organisations or projects
- Familiarity with healthcare and hospital-related IT systems or projects
- Understanding of regional governance and digitalisation strategies
