Job title: Lead ICSS Engineer (Shared Resources)
Assignment type: Contract
Contract duration: 3 years (with possibility to extend)
Work location: Qatar Onshore
Work schedule: 6 days per week, 10 hours per day
Key Accountabilities:
- Leads Field Instrument & Control Engineering activities for the Project, ensuring technical requirements (e.g. project specifications, data sheets, etc.) fully comply with project deliverables and standardised processes and are delivered to the highest standards.
- Steward Instruments & Controls engineering activities to ensure quality and timely delivery of Instruments & Controls engineering scope.
- Drives the EPC contractor by providing clear guidance and facilitating resolution to issues to complete Instruments & Controls engineering activities to include field instrumentation and third party packages.
- Reports to Head of Systems (Shared).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Instrument Engineering or equivalent.
- 15 years' experience working in Instrument and Controls, in an Oil & gas industry project having broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction and operations.
- I&C design experience for offshore assets.
- Strong understanding of Instrumentation, Controls and Safety equipment, Metering, vendor package and systems experience.
- Well versant in relevant industry codes and standards.
- Experience with smart JB technology is desired.
- Pre-comm/Comm experience is required.
