Interview Timeline:

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level engineering support for electrical rotating equipment—including motors and generators—across facilities such as refineries, gas plants, and terminals.

Develop and uphold internal procedures, technical standards, and best practices related to electrical machinery.

Represent the company in technical discussions with OEMs, engineering firms, and vendors, offering expert consultation on design, procurement, and performance issues.

Support capital projects by reviewing engineering packages and attending design sessions both locally and abroad.

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to drive operational reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Participate in or contribute to industry standards development and technical committees when applicable.

Perform technical peer reviews, assess third-party reports, and contribute to the development of engineering standards.

Mentor junior engineers, fostering growth through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution; a Master’s degree is highly desirable.

Professional licensure (e.g., Professional Engineer / PE) or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.

Minimum 20 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a deep focus on motors, generators, and high-voltage rotating equipment.

Strong background in design, commissioning, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical machinery in industrial environments.

Proven experience with factory acceptance testing (FAT) and power system diagnostics.

Solid knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NEMA).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and with global teams.
