Position Title: Interface Manager - Offshore EPCIC Projects

Role Overview
The Interface Manager will oversee and coordinate the connections among different project components, teams, and partners in an Offshore EPCIC Project setting. This role is central to ensuring that all project elements align smoothly, with issues addressed quickly and objectives consistently met. Acting as a communication bridge across internal departments and external partners, the Interface Manager facilitates seamless collaboration, supporting efficient project delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish and apply methods to manage the interfaces among various project teams, systems, and outside stakeholders.
- Define, document, and update interface requirements and interdependencies.
- Act as the main contact for all issues related to interfaces and integration.
- Host regular meetings and sessions to align project elements and resolve concerns.
- Maintain clear communication across internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to streamline integration efforts.
- Deliver ongoing updates and detailed reports on interface progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Create and present reports covering interface progress, potential risks, and issues.
- Identify and promptly address any issues or conflicts related to interfaces.
- Track the resolution of interface issues, ensuring they are effectively managed.
- Recognize risks related to interfaces and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Resolve interface risks to keep the project aligned with its objectives.
- Keep thorough records of interface agreements, requirements, and any adjustments.
- Ensure that all interface documentation is up-to-date and complete.
- Conduct audits and assessments to confirm the effectiveness of interface management.
- Promote best practices and improvements in interface management.
- Manage the alignment of different project components and systems for optimal functionality.
- Work with project managers and technical teams to synchronize interface alignment with project timelines and goals.
- Coordinate interface testing to confirm functionality and performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related area.
- At least 15 years of experience in the Oil and Gas sector, with a preference for offshore projects.
- Minimum of 10 years working in EPCIC projects.
- Prior experience in the GCC region or Europe is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and web-based tools.
- Familiarity with project management and team collaboration software (e.g., MS Project, Confluence, Jira).
- Fluent in English (business-level, both spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
Industry Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in managing interfaces or related roles within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Strong background in project management and integration strategies.
- In-depth understanding of interface management practices and standards.
- Experience in Offshore EPCIC projects, particularly subsea cable projects, is an advantage.
