About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive Insight Specialist to lead the development and evolution of a comprehensive product perception tracking system. This role is central to understanding how consumers across diverse markets perceive a wide range of products, providing actionable insights that influence both strategic and tactical decisions. The insights generated will guide product offerings to better meet the needs of over 50 different markets globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup and ongoing management of a global product perception tracking system in collaboration with external suppliers.
  • Analyse perception data and additional sources to produce strategic and tactical insights related to consumer preferences and market trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate consumer insights into decision-making processes, balancing product commonality with market-specific needs.
  • Develop clear, concise reports that provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders, supporting business strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to continuously refine the tracking system.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in consumer insights, market research, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Experience establishing and managing tracking systems and working with external suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to present insights clearly to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Passionate about consumer behaviour and enhancing the global customer experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience in retail furniture or familiarity with global product assortments.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Experience with statistical analysis software or programming languages such as SPSS, R, or Python.
