Job Title: Information Architect

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Architect to join a central architecture unit within a government agency. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining a cohesive information structure that supports the agency's operational needs and digital transformation initiatives.
As part of a cross-functional team, you'll collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that information is handled in a structured, reusable way-enabling efficient system development and effective information governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Model and visualise information structures and flows
- Support projects and initiatives with information analysis and modelling
- Ensure traceability between business needs, information assets, and system solutions
- Operate both strategically and hands-on, engaging with diverse teams across the organisation
- Contribute to the development of a sustainable and forward-looking information architecture
Essential Experience and Skills
- Proven experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect
- Proficiency in UML and ArchiMate
- Strong background in information modelling and concept modelling
- Minimum of 9-12 years' experience in information architecture or closely related roles
- Ability to take ownership of major workstreams with high levels of autonomy
- Skilled at delivering high-quality consultancy in complex assignments
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in the public sector
- Familiarity with master data management, information classification, or data governance
- Knowledge of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF
- Workshop facilitation and achieving stakeholder alignment
- Experience in large organisations with complex IT environments
- Experience in metadata management and information cataloguing
Work Setup
- Full-time role based in Jönköping
- Remote work available up to 3 days per week after the initial onboarding period
Contract Details
- Start date: By agreement, no later than 1 September 2025
- Initial contract until 31 December 2025
- Option to extend up to 2 years (extensions in 6- or 12-month increments)
- Interviews are expected to take place during week 34
