Job Title: Change Manager

Contract Type: Fixed-term consultancy

Workload: Approximately 50-75% FTE (flexible, volume may vary)

Extension: Option to extend up to 3 years in 6-month increments, at client's discretion
Role Background
Our client seeks an experienced Change Manager to lead and support the organisation's change journey related to a project aimed at updating and improving one of their core processes. This process enables customers to purchase and connect to the client's services and spans multiple service areas. The project focuses on making this process more efficient and customer-centric.
The Change Manager will coach and support internal change leads and actively drive the change with a strong business focus to ensure the project meets its impact goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead practical change initiatives using recognised change management methods and models
- Independently plan, execute, and follow up on change activities
- Coach and support internal change managers in change management best practices
- Provide training in change management within the organisation as needed
- Actively manage internal and external communications related to the change
- Deliver work in accordance with the client's project model (PPS) and management system
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum eight (8) years' experience as a change manager
- At least two (2) assignments coaching, supporting, or training change managers or other leaders in change management
- At least two (2) assignments within the last five (5) years involving communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Certified in PROSCI or equivalent change management certification
- Good knowledge of established programme and project methodologies such as PPS, SAFe, or equivalents
Success Factors
- Proven experience driving change in large organisations with diverse workflows and requirements
- Skilled at independently managing end-to-end change efforts
- Experienced in coaching, supporting, and training within change management
- Strong communicator with experience in internal and external stakeholder engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading change initiatives in larger organisations
- Coaching and supporting other change managers
- Formal education or training in change management
