Job Title: Engineering Manager – Offshore Floating Production

Location: Middle East / Offshore

Job Purpose:
A leading offshore development company is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering delivery for a Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading (FPSO) project from early concept through FEED.

The role provides technical leadership across multi-discipline engineering teams, ensuring safe, high-quality, and commercially sound engineering solutions aligned with project objectives. You will manage engineering scope from concept selection, pre-FEED, and FEED phases, coordinating internal disciplines, package engineers, vendors, and external engineering contractors.

A key focus will be maintaining design integrity, managing interfaces, controlling technical risk, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, class, and client requirements. You will also oversee engineering planning, deliverables, schedule integration, and technical decision-making, while supporting project management with cost, risk, and change control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multi-discipline engineering teams across concept, pre-FEED, and FEED phases

  • Ensure technical integrity, design quality, and alignment with class and regulatory requirements

  • Manage engineering interfaces between internal teams, vendors, and contractors

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight for engineering deliverables and documentation

  • Support project management with cost, risk, and change control input

  • Oversee contractor studies and ensure engineering readiness for subsequent project phases

  • Maintain engineering schedule, scope, and resource planning

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager on FPSO or similar offshore development projects

  • Strong background in Concept Selection, Pre-FEED, and FEED delivery

  • Experience managing multi-discipline engineering teams and interfaces

  • Solid understanding of offshore regulations, class requirements, and FPSO systems

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-national project environment
