Position Overview:
A Cost Engineer is required to support a portfolio of capital projects from early-stage concept through to execution. The role focuses on delivering accurate cost estimates and effective project controls, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cost efficiency and informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive cost estimates across all project phases.

  • Monitor budgets, track actual expenditures, and report variances against forecasts.

  • Integrate cost data with scheduling and project controls systems for cohesive reporting.

  • Conduct cost risk assessments and benchmark project costs against industry standards.

  • Provide cost insight to support procurement activities and vendor evaluations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 8–15 years’ experience in cost engineering roles, ideally within energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.

  • Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to estimating and cost control.

  • Proficiency in cost management tools and software.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.

  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset.
