Position Overview:
A Cost Engineer is required to support a portfolio of capital projects from early-stage concept through to execution. The role focuses on delivering accurate cost estimates and effective project controls, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cost efficiency and informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage comprehensive cost estimates across all project phases.

Monitor budgets, track actual expenditures, and report variances against forecasts.

Integrate cost data with scheduling and project controls systems for cohesive reporting.

Conduct cost risk assessments and benchmark project costs against industry standards.

Provide cost insight to support procurement activities and vendor evaluations.
Candidate Requirements:

8–15 years’ experience in cost engineering roles, ideally within energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure sectors.

Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to estimating and cost control.

Proficiency in cost management tools and software.

Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
