Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support commissioning and finalisation activities on a short-term assignment in Iraq. This position is critical for validating control systems and closing out remaining commissioning punch list items, particularly related to chiller and dryer unit controls.
Scope of Work
Punch List Closure

Identify and resolve outstanding I&C-related punch list items.

Verify and document corrective action completions.

Ensure system compliance with design, functional, and operational standards.
Logic Verification – Chillers & Dryers

Conduct detailed verification of control logic for chiller and dryer systems.

Validate control sequences, interlocks, setpoints, alarms, and safety functions.

Collaborate with OEM representatives and site engineers to troubleshoot and optimise system performance.

Document all findings and provide technical recommendations or required modifications.
Key Requirements

Proven experience in control systems engineering, preferably in oil & gas, power, or industrial HVAC projects.

Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Honeywell.

Hands-on experience with chiller and dryer control systems is highly desirable.

Skilled in interpreting P&IDs, control narratives, and technical schematics.

Familiarity with site commissioning protocols and strong HSE awareness.

Excellent diagnostic, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Must be available and willing to mobilise to Iraq by 7th July.
