Job Title: Control System Engineer – Industrial Turbines
Location: Finspang, Sweden (Hybrid Working Available)

We are supporting a global engineering firm in the search for a Control System Engineer to join their industrial turbine project team based in Finspang, Sweden. The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic international environment, supporting project development from design through to customer handover.
Overview of the Role:
As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will contribute to the design, programming, and testing of control systems for industrial gas turbines. The role includes customer engagement, hardware and software planning, and support throughout the full lifecycle of each project.
Key Responsibilities:

Adapt the turbine, auxiliaries, and control system based on customer specifications in collaboration with sub-project managers, mechanical and electrical engineers

Design and programme control system solutions, including hardware and software configuration

Participate in purchasing processes, network setup, documentation, simulation, and system testing

Provide support for workshop testing and commissioning activities

Lead the technical scope preparation for turbine maintenance projects

Work collaboratively within a dedicated control systems department, sharing knowledge and resolving issues as a team
Requirements:

Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience working with control systems, particularly T3000 and/or PCS7

Comfortable working in an international setting and engaging with global customers professionally

Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Swedish or other languages are an advantage but not required

Interest in process improvement is a bonus
Desirable Skills:

Experience with commissioning or troubleshooting industrial systems

Knowledge of network configuration and infrastructure
