Contracts Analyst – Offshore Projects
Location: Qatar
Contract: 36-Month Secondment
Working Days: 6 per week
Day Rate plus Logistics Allowance

Position Overview
The Contracts Analyst provides post-award contract administration support for offshore projects, ensuring that contract registers are up-to-date, contractual correspondence is issued correctly, and post-award activities such as change orders, variations, and claims are handled efficiently. The role also coordinates meetings and liaises with internal teams and external contractors to support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing contracting scenarios to support effective contracting strategy workshops

  • Support the preparation of technical bid evaluation plans, procedures, and models

  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and regulations

  • Manage post-award activities including preparation of formal correspondence, change orders, claims, and insurance/guarantee administration

  • Support negotiations with contractors and suppliers, coordinating with legal and supply teams as needed

  • Maintain contract registers, including correspondence, change management, claims, insurance, guarantees, and SDRs

  • Review and issue contractual correspondence through electronic document systems

  • Arrange, record, and minute regular Contracts/Change meetings

  • Ensure adherence to company safety, health, environmental, and quality standards

  • Comply with company policies regarding anti-trust, competition laws, and internal firewall regulations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Law, or related discipline

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a business-related function, with at least 2 years in the oil and gas industry

  • Experience with oil and gas companies, EPC contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, or service companies

  • Knowledge of contract administration, procurement, cost control, reporting, change management, and project planning

  • Familiarity with international business standards and best practices

  • Proficiency with professional software tools, dashboards, data analytics, and SAP

  • Ability to resolve issues and complaints effectively

  • Computer literacy including professional office applications

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a complex project environment
