The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join a major industrial project at the Pre-FEED stage. This role offers the chance to work on a large-scale, integrated petrochemical complex, supporting the development of critical infrastructure. You will play a key role in supervising engineering execution, ensuring compliance with international standards, and contributing to the success of this high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee civil and structural engineering execution during detailed design

  • Develop calculations for heavy equipment foundations, buildings, and steel structures

  • Design and analyse modular steel structures for transportation, lifting, skidding, and load-out

  • Lead the design of structural steel and precast pipe racks

  • Design process plant structures, blast-resistant buildings, and technological structures

  • Develop foundations for compressors, pumps, exchangers, coolers, and other equipment

  • Design specialist structures such as chimneys, cooling towers, and pre-stressed bridges

  • Ensure all designs comply with international standards (American, British, IBC, etc.)

  • Review drawings, specifications, and calculations for compliance with engineering best practices

  • Coordinate design efforts to support material requisitions and ensure compliance with project specifications

  • Analyse disputed technical and contractual issues and prepare responses

  • Manage change order requests, preparing justifications and leading scope alignment with contractors

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related discipline)

  • 10-15 years of experience in oil and gas or petrochemical projects

  • Strong knowledge of industry standards, including Aramco and international codes

  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
