The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Civil Inspector to join a major industrial construction project in Northern Sweden. This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to contribute to a forward-thinking initiative within the heavy industry sector. You will play a crucial role in ensuring quality standards are met throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities

Review subcontractor data submissions, including quality plans, personnel qualifications, and construction records

Witness and assess subcontractor procedures and executions to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations

Oversee inspection and testing activities, ensuring adherence to approved inspection and test plans

Document and facilitate inspections, including client and independent review meetings

Monitor design changes, non-conformance procedures, and corrective actions

Support subcontractors in resolving non-conforming works

Analyse subcontractor performance for re-qualification and management reviews

Ensure delivery of high-quality services while meeting project needs
Qualifications & Experience

Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline

Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role within infrastructure or heavy industry

At least two years’ experience in quality assurance

Strong understanding of inspection management principles

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Knowledge of AB04 regulations is an advantage

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities

Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritise key project needs

Adaptable and flexible in covering multiple tasks and supporting inspection teams
