Client: Pioneering Green Steel Production Company
Assignment Type: Annually Renewable Contract
Location: Boden, Sweden
Work Schedule/ Rotation: 10 hours a day / 6 Days a Week ….working either 3 Weeks on 1 week off or 4 weeks on 1 week off rotation.
Kintec are currently partnered with a pioneering Green Steel Production Company who are constructing a plant in Northern Sweden that will produce Green Steel – Green Steel production emits up to 95% less CO₂ compared conventional steel production.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Bas-U is responsible for coordinating health and safety during the construction phase to ensure compliance with Swedish work environment regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate safety activities among all contractors.
- Maintain and update the Work Environment Plan.
- Monitor site work to prevent risks and accidents.
- Conduct safety inspections and follow up on incidents.
- Stop work in case of immediate danger to life or health.
REQUIREMENT
- Strong Knowledge of Swedish Work Environment Legislation
- Deep understanding of Arbetsmiljölagen, AFS regulations, and obligations of contractors and clients during construction.
- Proven Experience in Health & Safety on Large Industrial Construction Projects
- Preferably in heavy industry, energy, or large-scale infrastructure—ideally within Scandinavian construction environments.
- Ability to Lead and Coordinate Multiple Contractors
- Skilled in communication, conflict resolution, and ensuring consistent safety practices across diverse teams on a complex site.
- Fluency in Swedish (and Professional English)
- Necessary for documentation, regulatory compliance, and daily communication with local authorities and contractors.
